About the Police Station :

          Establishment : Opened on 14.08.1987 as per Government Order (GO (Rt) No.2666/87/Home dated 01.08.87).

          Location : Initially located in old Ward No. XIII of Nattakam Panchayath in building No. 808.

Following the abolition of Nattakam Panchayath, the area has been amalgamated into Ward 36 of Kottayam Municipality.

The station is now awaiting reassignment of its building number by the Kottayam Municipality.
