About the Police Station :

                  The station was originally an Out Post of Ettumanoor Police Station and was upgraded into a Charge Station on 15.02.1961.It is located on the eastern side of MC road, south of Kuravilangadu Junction.

History of the Police Station :

                  The police station, initially an outpost of Ettumanoor Police Station, was upgraded to a charge station on 15.02.1961.The police station complex was inaugurated by Sri. Vayalar Ravi, the Home Minister of Kerala, on 28.10.1984.
