    Established on 06/10/1961 by upgrading the Erumely Outpost, which was previously attached to Ponkunnam Police Station (via G.O. (Rt) No. 1530, dated 30/09/1961).The station moved to its own new government building on 15/04/1978, which was inaugurated by Sri. P.J. Joseph, the Hon'ble Minister for Home.Situated in Erumely South Village, Kanjirappally Taluk, near Erumely Sastha Temple.The Erumely-Ranni Road passes in front of the building.
