Road, one of the key roads in Kerala, runs along the border of the police station's jurisdiction, and the Agamaly-Punaloor State Highway and Uzhavoor-Koothattukulam Road also pass through it.The nearest main railway stations are Kottayam and Ernakulam, while the nearest airport is Nedumbassery.

History of the Police Station :

                                  Ramapuram Police Station was opened on 26/01/1970.It was later shifted to a new building on 01/10/1977 near the Ramapuram private bus stand.The station serves the three villages of Ramapuram, Vellilapplally, and Veliyannnoor, along with parts of Kadanadu village.
