                        Establishment : Started vide GO(MS) 17/S1/Home(E) dated 03.02.1987.Began functioning in a rented building near Manarcad Junction on 17.08.1987.

Land Allotment and New Building : Manarcad Panchayat allotted 25 cents as per Survey No. 342/7.New building constructed under G.O.(Rt) No. 2985/07/Home Dt. 06.11.2007 by KPHCC Ernakulam.Station shifted to the new building on 08.02.2008.

Central Custodial Facility : Established on 11.12.2010 vide G.O.(Rt).No. 3651/2010/Home Dt. 04.12.2010.
