Kottayam Dist. there were effectively implemented Janmithry Suraksha Project in 18 Police Statioons under kerala community Polices. On 09-03-2008 the Project firstly implemented in Vaikom Police Station. During the period 2010-2011 the project implemented in Pala, Kottayam East, Kottayam West, Kaduthurithy police Stations. In 2013 the project started at Chingavanam, Gandhinagar, Mundakayam, Melukavu, Manarcadu, Marangattupally Police Stations. .The fifth Phase of the project started at Vakathanam PS in 2011. E-Beat systemalso been conducted in 17 Janamaithri Police Stations.
The Project providing various help to the deserved persons in various sectors of society with the assistances and active involvement of Community Police.
